Request Organisation Deletion

This deletion page is for AssetBase users and administrators. Organisation deletion is completed directly inside the AssetBase dashboard.
1. Who This Applies To
This process applies to organisation workspaces created in AssetBase, including all associated admin and member access under that workspace.
2. How to Delete in the Dashboard
Use the steps below in the AssetBase dashboard:
- Step 1: Sign in to the AssetBase dashboard with an organisation admin account.
- Step 2: Go to Settings > General.
- Step 3: In Danger Zone, click Delete under Delete Organisation.
- Step 4: In the confirmation dialog, type your organisation name exactly as shown.
- Step 5: Click Permanently Delete to confirm.
3. What We Delete
When deletion is confirmed, AssetBase permanently deletes the organisation workspace and its data from active systems, including:
- Organisation profile and workspace configuration
- Admin/member account profiles associated with that organisation
- Asset records, categories, and custom fields
- Location records and linked metadata
- People/contact records used for assignment and borrowing
- Borrowing, assignment, and return history
- Reports, activity history, and uploaded files linked to organisation records
4. What We Keep & Retention
After successful deletion, AssetBase does not keep active organisation workspace data.

5. Deletion Timelines
- Primary systems: deletion starts immediately after confirmation in Settings.
- Completion: typically completed shortly after confirmation, subject to system processing.
- Backups: encrypted backup data is automatically purged within 35 days.
